They offer Ox Sisig made from slow-cooked tripe and ox tongue with chopped chili peppers, onions and mayonnaise. It is a far cry from the pork cheeks and ears sisig recipe I am used to, but it tastes awesome! Ox Sisig









The Vegetable Lumpia is a feast on the palate! The mixed, stir-fried vegetable is interpersed with crispy-fried lumpia wrapper. The combination results in a burst of heavenly, savory treat. I never imagined how such innovation would taste so good!



The Little Asia Crispy Chicken is one of their classic recipes handed down from generations.

The lightly Battered Shrimp is my favorite! Bistro Charlemagne simmered the shrimps in a thick sauce that gives it a lovely flavor. It comes with a handful of salad vegetables at the side, which can be left to wilt into the special sweet chili-mayo sauce and chili oil.





It was a very tasty shrimp sauce that even after the last prawn is gone, the remaining stock can still be great for bread to dip in. The greens make a superb low-calorie, high-fiber side dish to have at a holiday gathering. I will surely be back soon.
